Haemonetics rose 17% after CSL laid out its rollout timeline

Haemonetics recent price and volume

Haemonetics rose 17.46% to $119.47 from $101.71 after plasma collector CSL said it plans to roll out the company's devices across the U.S. That is up 15.4% over two days and 14.5% over five. In an 8-K (current report) filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under Item 7.01 (other disclosure), the company said CSL announced on Oct. 8 that it expects to finish rolling out NexSys PCS devices and disposables by the end of calendar 2027. CSL also told the company it expects the transition to cover all of its current U.S. plasma collection centers.

The deal itself is not new. The company disclosed a non-exclusive supply agreement with CSL in an 8-K on Aug. 18. What Thursday added was scope and timing. The company cautioned that both could change, that implementation details are still to be set with CSL, and that it is not updating its fiscal 2027 guidance. No contract value was disclosed, so the deal cannot be sized against the company's revenue. Reports also said Citi raised its price target.

Two things help judge whether the gain holds. The company said it will update the expected impact on fiscal 2027 results at its second-quarter earnings call in November, so watch whether revenue figures appear then. Because the agreement is non-exclusive, CSL can also buy from other suppliers.

Veradermics rose with no stated reason

Veradermics recent price and volume

Veradermics rose 14.13% to $126.63 from $110.95, and no reason can be found. The company filed nothing with the SEC in the past seven days, and no business news was reported. The articles that did appear only described the price action, with phrases like "traders pile in" and "breakout." Dollar volume was about $441.9 million and market value about $5.3 billion.

The stock fell 8.34% on Oct. 6, edged up on Oct. 7, then jumped. The $126.63 close is the highest in the period reviewed, which starts Sept. 3. Rallies without news often give back gains the next day. Watch whether a company announcement or 8-K turns up later, and whether volume stays in the $400 million range the next session.

Securitize rose 11% on tokenized-stock launch reports (no company filing)

Securitize recent price and volume

Securitize rose 11.05% to close at $12.66 on reports that it launched 12 tokenized U.S. stocks on the Solana blockchain. Reuters, Yahoo Finance and TradingView carried the story. The company filed nothing with the SEC in the past seven days.

The launch is reported as fact, but no figures show how much it will add to revenue, so it reads as expectations. The stock is still 23.9% below its late-September peak of $16.63 and down 7.9% over five days, with daily swings near 10%. Whether the company discloses real trading volume or fee income after launch will decide how much weight this news carries.
